Biopsies are procedures that obtain tissue from organs that allows for a diagnosis. The results of biopsies provide results that determines how patients are treated. Image guided biopsies are performed using ultrasound, x-ray, CT and MRI. Image guided biopsies provide for less complication risk, less pain, less recovery time and often less cost.
