Teaching Appointments + Education

Smiling African American male doctor wearing glasses, a white lab coat, and a light pink shirt standing outside during daytime.

Dr. Johnson holds clinical professorships at Florida State University, the Philadelphia College of Medicine, and Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) where he is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students. He also trains physicians during residency, guiding them as they develop procedural and patient-care skills. Training the next generation of physicians is deeply important to him, and he is especially passionate about showing the world what interventional radiology can do through a rural lens—bringing cutting-edge, minimally invasive care to communities that need it most.
